As long as I can remember I have been creating some kind of artwork.
I was born in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada and studied Art at Langara College, Vancouver School of Art, and San Miguel De Allende, Mexico.
After spending 3 years as a Ski Instructor at Alta Ski Resort in Utah, I enjoyed a 32 year career as an Art Director in Salt Lake City and in 2008, moved to Priest River, Idaho to focus on landscape painting full-time.
Most of my paintings are of the local area. I enjoy painting outdoors with my local painting buddies, but also work in the studio, painting from studies done on location or from photographs. My passion is local landscapes but I also enjoy Cityscapes, Still life, Florals and Dog portraits of my pet family members.
I paint regularly with the North Idaho Plein Air Painters Group, and am a member of Pend Oreille Arts Council and Art Works Gallery.
