Teresa Fisher
Pastels & Prints

Bald Eagle Eyes

Teresa Fisher is a contemporary artist whose passion for art and animals are vividly seen in her pastel paintings. She sees her surroundings through the eyes of a painter, studying the effects of light and shadow in nature, exploring the relationship between wildlife and their habitat to give life to her art.

                                                                 Shy Panda

Living in the Virgin Islands till 1996 and surrounded by so many wonderful artists, Teresa felt it was time to seriously pursue her art career. With her love of animals it was only natural that she use them for her models. Working in pen and ink to learn their anatomy and then expanding to pastel for their wonderful color and versatility, she became one of the top wildlife artist in the Caribbean.

                                                                Wolf Spring

Primarily working on her sailboat when living in the Caribbean, she now works in her new home in Clark Fork, Idaho. Teresa takes us to the rainforests of South America, the savannah’s of Africa , the frozen arctic and now the forests around her home in Idaho. Every animal she paints takes on a glow of life, from a wolf resting after a play in the snow, to a lone Moose in the meadow outside her window.

Teresa’s plans for the future are to build a studio-gallery over
looking the 30 acres she and her husband bought, located in a small valley on the south face of Antelope Mt. where there are lots of White tailed deer, Elk, Moose and Black bear.  All this is just five miles from Lake Pend Oreille in Northern Idaho.
