Mariusz, born in Bialystok, Poland, visited St. Petersburg
to see the czarist glass collection of Venetian Masters,
which formed the desire to work in glass. 

            




He studied at the Bialystok Glass Works, and in 1987 looked for work in the field of artistic glass. 



He came to Seattle in December 1988, and in 1995 he opened his own studio.
