Joanne Heaviland grew up in a small suburb
west of Cleveland, Ohio, where she was born.
At age 18 she relocated to
where she earned a degree in marketing and a master’s degree in Organizational Management, all the while working for United Airlines and taking photographs during her many travels. Photography became a hobby that through practice and patience became an inspiration and a way of expressing herself.
Joanne has an eye for composition, color and uniqueness in her photos.
Since becoming a resident of
Joanne finds much inspiration in the scenery and wildlife of the
Joanne photographs the surroundings that will inspire the viewer to capture that special place in Sandpoint such as the mountains, the lake, trains, flowers
and wildlife that are exclusive to this area.
