Art Works - Who, What, Why and How?

Art Works Gallery opened in February 1995 by a group of local artists to cooperatively display and sell our own work.  The artist members own and operate the gallery, performing all the functions of any retail outlet, from jurying new artwork and display to cleaning and selling.   

Our membership is composed of artists and craftsmen of the region, stretching from Idaho into Washington, Montana, British Columbia and beyond.  Art Works’ unique gallery provides a wide variety of fine art and fine crafts for the public to enjoy, whether “just browsing” or to purchase for their home or friends.  You are sure to find just the right item, whether a large original painting for your new home or a hostess gift to give as a “thank you for the invitation.”

Joining Art Works
Art Works is a co-operative gallery owned and operated by member artists.  All artwork is accepted on a jury basis by the membership.  Art Works also accepts artwork on a consignment basis from those who live outside the greater Sandpoint area.
